Migrate printer and scan templates to cloud-1524663633

Good morning,

We have a potential client that has *many* printer and scan templates created with DW on premise. Is there an efficient way to migrate these to the new cloud instance?

While DocuWare 6.12 allows you to export a configuration, the import function is not operational. With the update in the Cloud to DocuWare 7 for new Cloud customers the ability to import Import, Printer, and Scan configurations will be possible. However, the in-house system will also need to be upgraded to DocuWare 7 as well. Keep an eye on announcements for DocuWare 7 (Cloud and On-Premise) so you can co-ordinate your timing on the move.

A follow up question Phil,

Will these downloads/uploads allow the import of users and file cabinet profiles if they are built on the local DW7 platform prior to migration? 

DocuWare 7 will allow you to import File Cabinet settings another DocuWare 7 system. There is no export or import of Users, however DocuWare 7 will provide an Active Directory User synchronization to the cloud system.
