RE: SQL 2017-1534279065
I have two 7.1 systems on MSSQL 2017. -
RE: Can not Upgrade Docuware 6.7 to Docuware 7.0 ?
MSSQL or MySQL? The log should contain details, or you can view them in the console with the system upgrade tool. -
RE: Duplicate vendor/invoice number combo
Do you want to alert them right from the file cabinet store dialog during the storage event or just if there's a duplicate vendor/invoice combo in the file cabinet? -
RE: Sort by Total Pages in Tray-1523481701
Hooray! It's here! -
RE: Connect to Mail and Shared Mailboxes
I think I understand your dilemma correctly. C2M does not support shared mailboxes. We had to make it so that shared mailboxes EmailB, EmailC, and EmailD were distribution lists that forward to EmailA. EmailA organizes email from EmailB, EmailC, and EmailD into folders. The EWS impersonation user that is configured for C2M is able to see the EmailA folders. -
RE: When do .DWX files get created?
Thank you, Tobias. I submitted a support request back during this same week. Indeed, these were old DocuWare 5 documents, but the original XML file headers were not "lost" ... they were still there. Nobody could figure it out so we just deleted the old documents that were affected instead of troubleshooting this.

RE: Export to Text file
No. Use bcp or sqlcmd. Pro tip, use PowerShell Invoke-Command to call bcp remotely (beware of storing creds in plaintext). -
RE: Can I use ODBC 32-bit data source for Workflow?
Nathan, there's a lot of stuff here, but check out two entries from Phil:
ODBC Connection Not Working After Upgrade
****************************************************************************************************************************************************************1. Create a 32 bit ODBC DSN connection to the database (ODBCAD32.exe).
****************************************************************************************************************************************************************
2. Open DocuWare Administration and register the connection (under database connections).
3. Create a 64 bit ODBC connection with EXACTLY the SAME name as the 32 bit ODBC connection (ODBC Data Sources 64 bit).
All you need to do is to create a 64 bit ODBC connection with exactly the same name as the original 32 bit ODBC connection. DocuWare Platform will then select the 64 bit ODBC driver. -
RE: Update a form field after submitted.
This works as advertised. Phil, big time thanks for the tip about only adding entries. -
RE: Update a form field after submitted.
Has the customer system been updated to 7.1 yet? If so, when was the workflow created?
