The "uploading sample document" window hangs when you want to upload a document for DocuWare printer.

During the upload process from the web basket to the printer configuration, the system logs in using DocuWare Platform Services. Usually this behaviour is caused if the Platform Services are not working properly. To find out why do following test on the server where Web Components are installed:

  1. Open the web browser
  2. Call http://localhost/DocuWare/Platform/Account/Logon
  3. Log in with a valid DocuWare user
    If you can log in, you will be redirected to the platform default page
    If not check if there any error message displayed
    Check also http://localhost/DocuWare/Platform/Home/LogMessages


The log message might indicate why it doesn’t work. If necessary send the screenshot of the log to DocuWare Support.
