Question:
Can documents that reside on an Azure cloud be imported to DocuWare?
Answer:
Documents stored in Azure Cloud can be imported to DocuWare via an Import job. If the Azure files are mapped as a network drive, create an import job (KBA-36320) in the DocuWare Desktop Apps and set the watch folder's path to the mapped Azure files.
Please refer to KBA-36721, as the user running the Desktop service must be a domain user and will need full permissions over the monitored folders.
If the files reside in an Azure Blob location, they cannot be imported via an import job. Nonetheless, you may be able to import them using DocuWare's .NET API. Please visit the DocuWare Developer Page for more information on .NET API.
KBA is applicable to both Cloud and On-premise Organizations.
