Under certain circumstances it can happen, that the DocuWare Desktop Service cannot start. If that is the case please check the Windows Event Viewer Logs Application and System. You can open the Event Viewer by pressing WIN + R and entering "eventvwr.msc".
If the following error is documented, it indicates, that the correct certificate is missing on the machine:
FATAL DocuWare.Desktop.Service - Starting DocuWare Desktop Service failed. Cannot find the X.509 certificate using the following search criteria:
StoreName 'My', StoreLocation 'LocalMachine', FindType 'FindBySubjectName', FindValue '127.0.0.1'.. Please see the logging for further details.
