When you open the DocuWare Scan App, you go to select your scanner but it is not showing. In some instances, you will receive a message that indicates "Scanner is not Available". 

Uninstall the scanner driver from your computer

  • reinstall your scanner's 32-bit drivers
  • restart the DocuWare Desktop Service and DocuWare Desktop App
This is caused by an issue with communication between the scanner driver and the DocuWare desktop scan app.
