Hello Everyone,

Is there a technical guide to follow in order to setup an access to Docuware System from Internet ?

In addition it must support SSO with the protocols SAML2 or OpenID.

Thanks in advance.
Kind regards.

How are you? Has it been possible to obtain a solution regarding the subject discussed?

I would be interested in having a solution to the issue,

Hi Ricard,

I think there used to be a small KB article, but I can not find it right now.
Basically, SSO is not yet possible on on-premise solutions and in DW Cloud only supported with Azure AD.

Opening up your on-premise System for external access is not really a DocuWare specific thing.
All you need to do is supply your IIS with an SSL certificate, enable correct website bindings and configure your router/firewalls in a way that allows a public url like to be routed to your DocuWare Server.

All this is default Microsoft and Networking Tech which every IT department should be able to handle with ease.

The only DocuWare specific part is that you need to change the WebConnection inside the DocuWare Administration to HTTPS once you start using it.

Hope this helps.
