Hi,

I've recently been trying to get a workflow to write to a specific area of a doucment. I've not hand any luck with the "Fill and area of the document" option and stamps don't write to the right place and contain the field as well. I've tried updating index fields but this does not update the documnet by the end of the workflow.

The flow I have comes from a webform that gets submitted. It then needs to be reviewed by someone who adds addtional information through a workflow. This Information then needs to be written to the document so the document can be printed out later.

Any idea's how to do this?

Hi Jason, that should certainly be doable.  Why haven't you had any luck with the "Fill an area of the document" option? If you're not seeing the fill area listed there then you should be able to go back to your merge form, add a fill area where you want it, give it a nice name, and it should be available in the workflow for you.

If you're not seeing the fill area listed in the workflow, then check the trigger conditions of the workflow to ensure that it's set to use the merge form (let me know if you need help with that).
