Microsoft Access ODBC Connector

2 Questions:
1.  Is it possible to write data back to Microsoft Access with no Match Data? Just simply want to take the metadata in Docuware and transfer it to Microsoft Access. I already have the Microsoft ODBC connector set up and linked with the Local Database connector. They can write info back and forth but only if there is a match.
2. I can only seem to get the Local Database connector to work with the Microsoft Access DB if it is saved in .mdb format and not .accdb format. Is there a way to get it to work with .accdb?
