Question:
Is it possible to disable the OCR on client site, while using the DocuWare Desktop Apps?
Answer:
Since the DocuWare Version 6.7 we have the new function "run automatic text and recognition only if required".
This option can be enabled in the configurations of DocuWare Printer and DocuWare Import.
With this function the OCR or Barcode-OCR will only be done on client site if it's needed, so that means if any text or barcode should be read out during the upload.
For example if you want to seperate the document via barcode, only the Barcode-OCR will be done.
This function is not available for DocuWare Cloud system.
