Solution:
In the WebClient the following search operators can be used
(numeric and date fields are not supported in this case):
Operators: NOT, AND, OR
Features: EMPTY(), Notempty(), CURRENTUSERSHORTNAME(), CURRENTUSERLONGNAME() ,CURRENTUSEREMAIL()
