• Filter & Fulltext Search

    Casey,
From what you say I assume that the fulltext search with the filter worked in 6.12? I see no reason why this should not continue to work in 7. Please open a support request so that we can  double check everything and replicate the behavior, and then request feedback from R&D. Depending on the reply we may need to register a bug.

  • Upgrade to 7.

    Hameed,
There is no update. You can upgrade from 6.11 straight to DocuWare 7.

  • Remving Users

    Craig,
Unfortunately you need to remove them manually one at a time.

  • Date conversion.

Please open a Support Request. I cannot resolve this in the forum as this point. We have to look more closely at the problem.

  • CDATE Function

It's hard to say. If FECHA is a Date type variable then it should not produce an error. The target Index field is a Date or DateTime type?
Can you expand all of the history and post a screen shot?

  • Date conversion

There must be some other logic problem. You should open a support request so that we can find where the issue lies.

  • Data assignments.

No. You are not. You are doing ALL of your data assignments in the SAME data assignment task (step).

Split them up in to SEPERATE data assignment tasks as I indicated.

  • Data conversion

Assuming that "Fecha" is a Date Type variable then the problem is likely to be the order of data assignment.
You cannot rely on the data assignments happening in the order you enter them. Never assign a variable and the use the variable in the same data assignment step. Split the data assignment in to 2 or more different steps.

In step one assign the string variable. Then in a seperate step convert the vaiable to a date, then in a final step assign it to the index field.

  • Database query error.

First of all, that error is coming from the database engine, the LDC is simply delivering it. Your field name has a space in it. You cannot query most databases without enclosing field names that have spaces in square brackets - that is part of the ANSI standard query language.

Go in to your database query browser and plug in the query. The you can change the query until it works, then go back to the workflow and fix it.

The first thing I would do is put the field Vender Item No_ in brackets: [Vendor Item No_ ] since the database is actually telling you where the error is.

  • Delete a dialog

In the dialog list, you delete a dialog in the same way as you add a new one. Click the + sign at the bottom of the list to add, and the minus sign to delete. The dialog to be deleted must be high-lighted in the list.
Note that you cannot delete the default dialogs - Owner, Edit, Read, Delete.
