Licensed upgrade question

Good afternoon,
I kindly ask you if it is possible to upgrade the docuware version from version 6.12 to version 7 under a license number acquired for version 6.12 (renewal). I appreciate your guidance with this question based on your experiences.

Hi Camilo, 

installing a new Version like 7.0 or 7.1 is only possible if you have a license file for this version.
Normally you should pay a yearly maintenance and support contract which allows you to request a new license file from your DocuWare Partner (or DocuWare themselves if you are a direct customer).
Without this license file the setup will not continue.
