When attempting to access the schedule configurations within a workflow's start section, the following error is shown;
"Critical exception error: Couldn't find a compatible Webview2 Runtime installation to host WebViews."
Solution:
This error message occurs when the Webview2 component has not been installed on the machine. Please complete the following steps to address this behavior;
1. Browse out to C:\Program Files\DocuWare\Web\ClientSetupData\Prerequisites\WebView2. (These files are located on the DocuWare server)
2. Run the installations to see whether they have been installed. If they have not been installed, proceed with the installation. Do this for both the x64 and x84 installation files. Once completed, reattempt to access the schedule configuration in the workflow, which should proceed without error.
3. If the application has already been installed and is present within "Apps & features," please "Uninstall" this instance of the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime.
Once removed, please perform steps 1 & 2 and reinstall the Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime.
If this doesn't address the issue, download the latest Webview2 installation files from Microsoft's main page.
