Problem: 
When you have entered the wrong password 3 times you will receive this error message:
Invalid user credentials. Account "demo" is locked.
Please reset your password to unlock your account or contact your system administrator.

Solution:
The account is locked for 15 Minutes. You have two options.

- Option 1: Click on the "Reset Password" link and enter the Username (DocuWare Username)

 

DocuWare will now send an e-mail to the assigned e-mail address

Open your Inbox from your E-Mail Client (for example Outlook) now. and check for the e-mail from noreply@docuware.cloud in case you use the cloud and our default SMTP provider.

Check the Username before you click on the link. 
If you have assigned the same e-mail address to multiple users, you will receive 1 mail for every user who has the same e-mail configured.

 

 

The last step is to enter a new password which meets your organizational defintions like: special character included, minimum of 8 characters, not the same password as before etc.

 

- Option 2: Wait 15 Minutes
