Can you tell me where I can find a docuware document specifying the scope of your technical support?

A version upgrade is a common technical support or is it something different from a support?

I appreciate your guidance.

Update installations are usually not part of a support contract. You can do them yourself, ask your ADP to do that (usually for a fee) or have DocuWare Professional Services (definitely for a fee) do that.
Have a look at the "Updates" button on the top of this page, you can find the downloads and instructions there.
