Behavior:
You use several Content Servers and no e-mail notifications are sent.

Solution:
Activate the Content Server Debug Log. Please note that the Content Server Debug Log has to be activated in the DocuWare Administration on the Server on which the Content Server is running.
The assigned Content Server for the File Cabinet can be found in the "General" Area of the File Cabinet -> Content Server (see screenshot down below).   

Check the assigned Content Server for the file cabinet

Try to send an E-Mail-Notification and check the Content Server Log.
Check if following message is displayed in the Content Server Log:

Connection attempt fails
The message above means that the connection to the Notification Server does not work.
Background: For instance if the Content Server is installed on a different machine than the Notification Server the Ports could be blocked through the firewall (In this example port 9005 for the Notification Server).

Check if the ports are accessible.
