Why is Firefox asking for Username and Password when trying to login to DocuWare using Windows Authentication?

Solution:

Firefox is not configured to allow NTLM on internal sites.
To actvate it, follow these steps:

  1. In the address bar of Firefox, type in about:config and press enter.
  2. Search for the prference network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris and double click it.
  3. Type in the URL you use to access the DocuWare Web Client

​Firefox is now configured to allow NTLM on the DocuWare Web Client.
