Question:
Occasionally, the Import Jobs stop automatically. What is the reason why they stop?
Answer:
Please refer to the following most common root causes;
- The Authentication Server is not available
- If a metadata file is present without a corresponding file
- The Import configuration gets deleted, or the usage rights for the configuration are changed
- The Import folder got deleted/moved
- The file access is either restricted or changed by a different program or Windows rights
The Desktop Service log shows detailed information on why the Job was stopped. Please refer to KBA-35298 on how to access the Desktop log and create debug logs.
