Scenario:
When attempting to sync users into DocuWare via User Synchronization V1 or V2, the user is not being brought into DocuWare and the following error is present in the Workflow Server logs;

'User : USER can not be imported. Error: Operation cannot be completed because the given arguments are invalid! Details: "Please specify a valid email address."'

Solution:
This error is a result of the Active Directory user's email address field being empty. Since DocuWare uses the email address and the user name as a match code, DocuWare User Synchronization refuses to synchronize users with missing information.

To resolve this, ensure that the user to be brought into DocuWare has a valid email address assigned in Active Directory.
