Scenario:
When attempting to upgrade to DocuWare 6.12, uploading the license file fails. When investigating Server Setup logs (located at %programdata%\DocuWare\SetupLogs), the following error message is shown within the DWSetup.log;
 
"SignatureDescription could not be created for the signature algorithm supplied."
 
Solution:
DocuWare requires the installation of DotNet Framework 4.6.2. If a different version of DotNet Framework is installed, you will need to manually install DotNet Framework 4.6.2. Once installed, reattempt the server setup, and you should now be able to upload your license without error.
