Service passwords.
Select the App Pool in IIS manger, Select Advcanced settings > Select the ellipses on the right side of the App Pool user, Enter the user name exactly as it currently appears and enter the password twice and select Ok.
Do this for all DocuWare App pools and do an IISRESET.The password expiry is set either in Active Directory (domain user) or in the Users properties on a local machine.

Service password change.
Larry,
You should avoid having to change these service user passwords by making them strong passwords and setting them to never expire. Otherwise you have a maintenance chore every 90 days that you must be on top of. Please also reset the passwords of the DocuWare App Pools. They use the same service user defined during installation.Phil Robson

Access to Cloud Database.
Raymond,
You are correct there is no access to the DocuWare Cloud database. There is no work-around. Apart from synchronizing the Cloud cabinets back to an on-premise system - which kind of defeats the purpose here.Phil Robson

Autoindex
Yes. Your Autoindex job will iterate the file cabinet using the filter "Status = something, FirstName = "John", Lastname = "Doe", "EndDate ISEMPTY().
The match code is the DWDOCID. When it finds the documents you canthen enter a value in to Status. I'm not sure how you wish to enter a date. That migth be tricky if it is not simply an arbitrary date. Id it needs calculating then AIX will not do it.

AD Sync for Cloud
SSO is not available yet so the first time the user tries to log in to DocuWare they should be prompted to set a password.

View the DWDOCID
Create a new field of type INT. Call it what you like. Create an AutoIndex workflow to iterate the cabinet using the DWDOCID as the match code. When matched, write the DWDOCID to your custom field. For new documents, you can run the Autoindex job periodically with a filter where the custom field is empty, or if you are on DocuWare 7, use instant Autoindex to populate the field immeidately on storage.

DocuWare Viewer
All documents are rendered to a PNG file for display in the viewer. The viewer does have zoom settings. I am not sure if the page is rendered at 8.5x11 or at it's orginal size. If you zoom in does the zoomed portion become clear and readable?

Document Relations
If you are creating / altering the configuration in a different tab in the same browser, then after saving a configuration, on the web client tab press F5 to refresh the browser. If that does not work, close the browser completely and log back in. If that doesn't work then it is possible that the settings service has "lost track" of the changes. When possible, close your browser completely and perform an IISRESET on the server. Note that the reset will kill all client connections so only do that when the system is not being used.

Select list entries all in caps
Fausto,
That is the exception to my "generally case insensitive" statement. Select list entries in all capital letters can only be matched with an entry in capitals. Changing the select list entries to normal casing would be advised - unless there is a specific reason to leave them as all caps.Phil Robson
