How to define when to be notified about upcoming tasks?

When using task manager/lists, is it possible to set up a notification as well as its frequency for upcoming tasks? 

I have set up a list where it monitors documents that will expire within the next 30 days. How can I set up the task manager to keep on notifying a user based on a set frequency if they haven't acted on the document that will expire? 

you will need to combine auto index with notifications. Just have multiple AI jobs that run and look for certain statuses. Say 5 day, 10 day, 15, day 25 day. Just have AI change the status to 5 Day Warning. Then have the 10 Day AI run only look for documents who read 5 Day and so forth.. hope this make sense. Then create notifications for the user and then the status warnings.
