RE: Desktop App update permissions
Hi Steve,
in my understanding, the change works like this:
You need administrative permissions to upgrade from any older Version to 7.5, just like it used to be.
Administrative privileges are not needed when upgrading from 7.5 to a newer 7.5 with hotfixes or (probably) 7.6.

RE: Selct List in Alpha order
Hi Michael,
is there any reason why you are not using "Article-01", "Article-02" etc?

RE: Field Extraction from File Name
Hi Michael,
you can use Split(String, String, Int32, CompareMethod) in an arithmetic expression in workflow designer to get a specific part of the filename.
You might need to use it multiple times and play around with multiple global variables for this.
Hope that Helps.

RE: Intelligent Indexing issue with line item and comma
Hi Lee,
either use text replacement operations in WF designer prior to exporting or use a proper csv separator, like ;
Hope this helps.

RE: Document Processing - How to import "Replace Text" values
Hi Angel, Hi Craig,
this is most likely due to the fact that CSV files in Germany are not separated by a comma, but by semicolon - its just a different standard in Germany than in the US.
The German developers probably didn't think this through and implemented it only with semicolon CSV files.

RE: Neuen Datensatz/Dokument aus Workflo erstellen
Hallo Herr Plettenberg,

RE: Date Calculation to trigger a notification
Hi Doug,
first, you need to calculate the date for the notification.
For this, you can use an arithmetic expression with DateAdd() and store the result in a DateTime variable.
Next, you can create a time delay step which delays until the date from your variable is reached.
Keep in mind that time delay needs a date with time. When writing a date without time to a date variable, the time is automatically set to 12 pm UTC.
You might need to use a second DateAdd() to set the time to a different value.
Once the DateTime is reached, your task is triggered.
Hope this helps.
