• De-Register Server

Log out of Admin. Stop all services except Authentication, log in to Admin and then try to de-register.

  • Multiple Servers

    Jon,
Have you tried right clicking the unwanted server and selecting de-register?

  • Sort by Page Count.

Matt is quite right. If you select "Show index entries" on a document in the tray, select system entries, the last value is the number of pages. So this value should be easy to implement as sortable option.

  • DocuWare login.

Normally this will be controlled by a cookie. Are the clients allowed to accept cookies from DocuWare?
If they are, try deleting the browser cache.

  • User Licenses

    Richard,
Please see this FAQ for more information on client license usage:
    https://www.docuware.com/support_faq/index.php?action=artikel&cat=187&id=3009&artlang=en&highlight=license

But to directly answer your question, he can login on the laptop and a mobile device at the same time and use the same license.

  • Sort by total pages.

Do you mean the sorting by the number of pages in a document should be available? It seems to me that this is quite specific to a particular customer and I would direct you to User Voice for a feature enhancement. But it may need a lot of votes to have a chance.
Nothing gives. It is not an oversight.

  • Desktop Apps.

    Hi David,
Thyere is no configuration file option to make DocuWare wait. It is using native .Net handling routines. So as soon as the attributes on the file are detected as changed it will react to it. I do not have a solution for you.

  • DocuWare Licensing

    Nayeli,
It is an accepted practise to create a test environment for the purpose of testing an upgrade and making sure that everything works correctly before upgrading the production system. You can use your official DocuWare license file on both the test and production systems.

  • Workflow Logic.

    Rebecca,
Are you sure that the workflow step is not triggering a new workflow?
Do you tigger the workflow on documents that are already stored by setting the Status to New manually or with Autoindex?
If you only want to trigger the workflow when the documents are stored, then uncheck the changed index entries.
Check each Task carefully to ensure that the status is changed to something other than New after the workflow starts, and ensure that it is never set back to New during the workflow.
This may not be the problem, but we should eliminate it as a possibility.

    Seth / Pedro,
There will be more information on this with the release of DocuWare 7 in a couple of months.
