You cannot clip 2 documents together if they are both in the file cabinet. You can only clip a document from the web tray to a document in the file cabinet.

Josefs method will create a new document with the overlay an indelible part of the document.
My methos IS an annotation but you must MERGE the annotation with the document to make it also an indelible part of the document. If you do not merge then yes, it would be able to be printed without the annotation.
Josef's method is fully automated and is not subject to someone forgetting to merge the annotation.

You will only need to purchase an additional Professional Server license. A Professional Server license provides that 1 of each DocuWare server can be installed on a single machine. So you can install Web compoents on one machine, and Content and Wworkflow Server on another for example.

The logs have to be inspected, the connection settings confirmed in order to find the problem and correct it. It is impossible to know where in the chain the problem lies. So yes there are many possibilities from the information in your first post.

Which version of the document produces the error? Adobe's or DocuWare's? It is also not clear what PDF/A has to do with color space.
DocuWare workflow will never move a document from the file cabinet, wait for some activity and then re-store it. Be clear that Workflows do not store documents, move documents, copy documents, delete documents. They only act on index entries. This will not change.

DocuWare WebScan creates a PDF of the document - basically an image encapsulated in a PDF. There is no function in DocuWare to add a watermark. What is possible, is that after the document is delivered to a web tray, a stamp can be applied and merged with the document so that it is a permanent part of the document and cannot be removed. Unfortunately, this is a manual process and cannot be automated. Automation of this can be developed with the Platform SDK by a programmer.
