Behavior:
When attempting to manually run an Autoindex, Deletion Policy, DocuWare Transfer, or DocuWare Request jobs, the task appears in the database but does not execute, and after a few seconds, the following error message appears:
ERROR: "Server is not responding"
Solution:
Since DocuWare Version 7.13, Microsoft MSMQ has moved to the DocuWare Server Messaging Service for module communication. Previous troubleshooting steps for this error are no longer applicable.
To resolve the error, ensure the database information is correct in dwmachine.config (Found in C:\ProgramData\DocuWare\SetupConfig). If it is set to use “-1” for dynamic ports, Server Messaging will not be able to reach the database.By product design DocuWare utilizes static ports.
Once this has been corrected, restart Server Messaging, refresh the browser, and the error message will no longer appear.
