Duplicate records.
Well the idea is to tag them as Potential Duplicates. A list is then used to verify if the record is a duplicate or not and processed accordingly, by deleting one of the duplicates and removing the flag from the other.
I don't think you can do it with a WHERE Clause because you cannot parse the current DWDOCID as variable as you can in a Workflow external query. So I cannot think of a way of precluding the current DWDOCID from the selection. Maybe someone else can. Anyway, at least you can set up a manual process which is a start.

Duplicate Records.
Steve,
The first part is about using AIX to find and flag the duplicates. Workflow Manager is another option.

Transfer from Cloud.
Craig,
Transfer from Cloud is not available. You can only use Synchronization. This is problematic if version control is enabled since you can only use Transfer for version controlled cabinets. The only method then is to create a duplicate Cloud cabinet without version control and perform a Transfer from the source cloud cabinet to the target cloud cabinet. Then use Synchronization to bring the documents to on-premise.

Print & Download.
David,
I don't think I advised you correctly. Leave the functional right Export as is.
Create a role for the specific users that should be restricted. Then create a Result List Dialog for that that role. Under Result List functions, uncheck the 3 download options. Now make sure the users do not appear in any other Result List dialog. That will remove the context menu options for downloading. I think it will also remove the option buttons in the viewer too, but I need to check that.Edit: Create a Search dialog for that Role first, and add the Result list to that.

Print & Download
David,
Indeed they are treated as the same thing. To print or download, the document must be exported. In the past it has been possible to stop a user from printing a document in the browser with some local setting. I don't know if this is possible with downloading. From my side, if someone was able to stop me from downloading a document but still allow printing, I would get around that by printing the document to a pdf printer.Phil Robson

Input Validation
Just a note on using database triggers. During an upgrade of DocuWare the database tables are quite often recreated. Any trigger in the system will cause problems during the upgrade as the triggers is fired during the re-writing of the tables. So it is important to remember to disable all custom triggers before upgrading, and then re-establish them afterwards.

Workflow Tasks
Mike,
Unfortunately there is no function to re-assess tasks that have already been assigned.Phil Robson

Out of Office workflow subsitution
Christen,
This is achieved by setting up Substitution lists and rules in DocuWare Administration.
You create a substition list by adding users in the order that they should have workflow tasks redirected to them. When the first user in the list sets an out of office, then tasks are then directed to the next user in the list and so forth. Your workflow task allocations must reference a substitution list in order for this to become affective.http://help.docuware.com/en/#b64088t59416n87589
