Have any details about the new Workflow User license been released? What are the limits or restrictions of this license? What can the user NOT do when accessing a task?

Yes, the user will not be able to store or edit documents and index entries manually.
The user will be able to perform following operations in all available clients:

Workflow Tasks
  • Edit and submit tasks via workflow form or workflow stamp
  • Show workflow history
File Cabinet
  • Search for archived documents and display them
  • Show index entries
  • Export documents: download, print, send as email
  • Show document history
  • Retrieve link to document
  • Work with lists and result lists
    • send as email, export as Request, retrieve link to (result) list, export as CSV file
  • Save a search as list
Forms
  • Fill in a form and submit it (store)

The license is available in addition to the cloud packages "Professional II," "Enterprise II," and "Large Enterprise II."

Hello

Correct me if I am wrong  but important point to consider, the user will NOT be able to use annotations on the document with such a licence.

Regards

Gilles

Gilles, you are absolutely right.
Editing documents is not possible, this includes adding non workflow-stamps as well as any annotations on it.

Gerardo,

Thanks for that information. Can I assume that the Store/Edit permission includes adding annotations and saving the document? Meaning that the user will NOT be able to annotate and save the annotations.

Can the users with the workflow user license use the "Send Request" feature for Ad-hoc workflows?
