we have looked into this recently, and it is currently not possible to directly address the DocuWare REST API from the Power Platform. This is mostly due to the authentication at DocuWare which is currently based on cookies. For the Power Platform there is the need for oAuth 2 Authentication, but oAuth is not yet available for the DocuWare API.

Additionally you have to make the DocuWare On-Premises system open to the Internet to be able to communicate with it. All of this drives us to creating a connector on Power Automate for DocuWare Cloud only.

So, I think there should be some kind of different integration, maybe you can create index files using DocuWare Control (https://support.docuware.com/de-de/knowledgebase/article/KBA-36502) and save them on some folder which is synced locally and then DocuWare Import imports these documents. Also you could use Webhooks to send information from DocuWare to a webhook on the Power Platform and process it there. Maybe also an integration with AutoIndex will work. And maybe you will be able to use the API once DocuWare has oAuth 2 enabled, but this needs to be developed first.

jedes Dokument, das in DocuWare abgelegt wird, erhält automatisch einen Zeitstempel in einem Systemfeld. Dieses Systemfeld ist per default in Ablagedialoge aktiviert und kann auch in Ergebnislisten und anderen Dialogen angezeigt werden. Da bei jedem übermittelten Formular sofort auch das Dokument im Archiv abgelegt wird, enthält das Ablagedatum immer den Zeitstempel der Übermittlung.

die Frage ist nicht ganz einfach zu beantworten. Ein großer Vorteil der Archivierung als einzelne Dokumente ist natürlich, dass auf die einzelnen Dokumente sehr einfach und vor allem auch pro Kunde oder Lieferant zugegriffen werden kann. Die Tournummer bleibt als übergreifendes Merkmal bestehen und über die "Dokumentverknüpfungen" kann von jedem Dokument des Stapels der gesamte Stapel eingesehen werden.
Andererseits erhöhen Sie den Aufwand zur Indexierung. Je nachdem wie stark sich die Indexierung automatisieren lässt, ist dann insgesamt ein Vorteil zu erkennen. Das können letztlich nur Sie entsprechend entscheiden. Bei der einzelnen Archivierung werden 10-20 mal so viele Dokumente indexiert als bisher, falls die Indexierung manuell erfolgen muss, kann der Gesamtnutzen auch nicht sehr hoch ausfallen. Falls Sie die Indexierung sehr stark automatisieren können, dann ist es vermutlich insgesamt vorteilhaft.

Ob sie eine hohe Automatisierung erreichen können, hängt von der Herkunft der Dokumente (falls Sie die Dokumente erzeugen, können Sie bereits bei der Erzeugung die relevanten Dokumente auslesbar auf dem Dokument platzieren z.B. über einen QR Code), der Qualität (werden die Dokumente bei der Auslieferung dreckig) und auch davon ab, ob sie eventuell zusätzliche Informationen aus einem anderen System/Datenbank zu dem in DocuWare archivierten Dokument hinzufügen können.

Viele unserer Kunden nutzen z.B. QR Codes (oder andere Barcodes) auf Etiketten, um Dokumente mit entsprechenden Nummern oder anderen Informationen zu indexieren.
Wenn es nur um die Tournummer geht, könnten Sie beispielsweise die Tournummern als kleine Barcode-Etiketten ausdrucken und auf jedem Dokument der Tour vor dem Scannen aufkleben, dann kann die Tournummer bereits automatisch indexiert werden.

Ich hoffe, das beantwortet ein paar Fragen und hilft erstmal ein wenig beim Denken.

Hi Simon H. Hellmann,

there is currently no way to import a file with a list of holidays into the configuration. 

The formatting is sometimes broken. The service provider already fixed something which helped in most cases, but sometimes it is broken even after the fix.
