Behavior:
When trying to run or edit an Autoindex job, you receive the DocuWare message box with the following error:
“UndefinedInternal Server error”
Solution:
To resolve this error message, please refer to the following;
1. The Local Web Services address may be incorrect in the dwmachine.config. In C:\ProgramData\DocuWare\ServerConfig make a copy of the dwmachine.config file.
Open the file and make sure it is not missing the Local Web Services path, which looks like:
<Setting Key="LocalWebServices" Value="http://hostnameofserver/DocuWare/" Encrypted="false" />
(NO PORT NUMBERS ALLOWED IN THE URL).

3. Make sure an IIS app pool named "DocuWare Processes App Pool" exists and is running:
4. Ensure you've entered a System Storage path for your environment.
In the Administration Tool, navigate to DocuWare System >General and verify a path has been configured.
(Be aware on a multi-machine-environment you need to specify a network location)
NOTE: After performing any of the above, please restart DocuWare Services and IISRESET for changes to take effect.
