When attempting to update or install DocuWare Desktop Apps you receive the error;

"There was an issue installing the prerequisites"

This normally occurs when your anti-virus scanner prevents the installation of a required desktop application component. This can occur even when your anti-virus scanner does not send any notifications stating files were blocked.

Alternatively, you may have to temporarily disable your anti-virus application to successfully install the DocuWare Desktop Application.
