Problem:
When attempting to scan documents into DocuWare, conflicts between DocuWare and the listed scanners in the C:\Windows\twain_32 folder prevent the Desktop Apps from accessing the Fujitsu FI-7160 scanner in particular, resulting in the following error;
"Scanner is not available"
Solution:
Please refer to the following steps to resolve this behavior;
1. Navigate to the C:\Windows\twain_32 folder and cut and paste any unused scanner folders into a temporary location elsewhere, such as your Desktop.
2. Restart the DocuWare Desktop Apps and the DocuWare Desktop Service. Please refer to KBA-37226 for instructions on how to do this.
3. Re-paste the scanner folders back into the C:\Windows\twain_32 directory. Once completed, you should be able to scan documents using the Fujitsu FI-7160 scanner without error.
