Hi guys,

 

Trying to download the latest 6.12 hotifx pack for a customer but the FAQ site has been down for the last 2 days.

 

Do you have an ETA on this coming back up or a direct download location?

Dear Mr. McGlynn,

i can confirm that we currently have limitations when it comes to access to our official FAQ portal.

In the meantime we have uploaded several hotfixes and packs to our sharepoint.

Currently i cannot share an ETA on how long the limitations will be ongoing. We are sorry about that.

In the last week, we tried to find a way to keep the old FAQ site available but unfortunately this is not possible due to technical restrictions. You can contact the Support to acquire needed FAQs. We will also share the full HotfixPack descriptions in the Forum.

I understand you are doing a major upgrade, but it started more than 15 days ago !!

We desperately need to get back the FAQ site. Plus I hope the existing links will still working.

We rely on such a tool

Any update on when the system is back ?

Not my position to question competency of Docuware staff involved in making this update such a disaster for all of us. But I know if at my work, or at any of our customers installations, I would undertake an upgrade of any of system components, not even enterprize critical, and as a result the system - upgraded or not - would not be available to users for more than few days (not even a week), I'd be out of my job. And my manager would be out after 2 weeks. I am sure most of us here feel the same.

I hope you understand how frustraiting and disappointing these weeks - now it's almost 3 - have been to all of us, for community that lives by DocuWare..
